At Max’s Restaurant & Starbucks With CBS

Today is one of the hottest days in summer. It is not only the sun but also the wide blackout that affected not only households but also the mall. Today’s lunch was scheduled as the lunch out (unofficial event) for the Cebu Bloggers Society members who are willing, free and available today at Max’s Restaurant in SM Cebu.

I arrived earlier than the agreed time but only found out then that I was being secretly tagged along by Kai. So it was the two of us until Attorney Ethelbert came. But we did not go idle and wait for the others. Together with Wil, we went to Cyberzone to check out the rumored iPhone plan in Sun Cellular only to find out Atty. was hoaxed. Haha. We went back to Max’s when Vanjohnn texted me that he’s there already. We then saw Agnes. We already were seated when Kai fetched Mikyu and then Jessa, Mikyu’s rich friend, also arrived. Clado arrived later. Eating time. And then Prince arrived the latest.

The Esoteric CBS Camp Out

We’re owning! Okay, sorry for the DOTA association with Cebu Bloggers Society. I am just a bit restless now thinking that in an hour plus, I would get to try DOTA again after 3 years. Anyways, yesterday until this morning was Cebu Bloggers Society’s camp out in Vanjohnn‘s home in Jardin de Busay, Cebu City. Right now my mind is still around 25% clogged and dreamy because of the sudden drift in my bio clock mechanisms. In simple terms, we did not sleep the normal sleep last night. But no regrets. I had one of the best times in my life. Yay.

The pre-conversations in McDonald’s with Mark, McBilly, Mikyu-Jorich-Kai-Clado team, VJ and Atty Ethelbert was already an appetizer itself. Vanjohnn’s home is our food for the eyes. And we have human food too which we feasted on after some activities. Anyways, the GTKY was a classic, the games (taboo, charade, cup tower, and that can game) were great [in which the best team was the Papalicious team], the intelligent talks in between were educational, the green jokes were green as usual and everybody seems to be enjoying. I think. Other fun activities included the videoke session (duet actually for me, go us Kai!) and the pool work out. And lastly, the music jamming and the knocking out one by one of everybody (except three people who never had plans to stop talking). The morning walk made us sweat and energized (?). Perhaps. We all then went home all bringing home good memories [aside from our wet clothes in some stray plastic].

I don’t intend this post to be long. I just want this to become a reminder to me someday that such good event happened. Chronicler is the fitting term. Thankfully, I have already grown up in and outside of the boundaries of this growing group. Getting part in a group like CBS is something a person shouldn’t miss out. Til the next activity guys!

Update: And just like Mikyu-mao-sama, I will list all the members who were in the historic and esoteric camp out. Evanjohnn, Jorich, Bryan (that’s me), Mikyu, Kai, Clarence, Tianexx, Aldwin, Empress, Mark, Miong, Ryan, Timoy, McBilly, and Atty. Ethelbert, thank you all for everything.

Trailer Shock: Harry Potter 6 And Transformers 2

Two of my favorite movies will be coming out in June and July. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be on July 17, 2009 while Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be on June 26, 2009.

Have you experienced trailer shock? Trailer shock happens when you watch a trailer and your eyes stare at the screen and your heart skips beating because of excitement. I have experienced this when I watched Harry Potter HBP’s and Transformers’ trailers. I know the Harry Potter movie would be again so corrupted compared to the book (just like the rest of the Harry Potter movies) but the hell I care, I would still enjoy it, I know. And Transformers is just way cool and electrifying and nerve-wracking. I have watched the previous ones (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix/Transformers) in the cinemas and I have enjoyed every bit of it (less bit of HP since I was disturbed of their not following the book). This time, I am again planning to watch it in the big screen. But that would be months from now. For now, let us just savor every second of the trailers. Yay! Trailers after the jump.

The Youtube Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen HD Trailer is disabled for embedding so here is the link: Trailer for Transformers.
