iBlog5 Experience And The After Events

Last Friday, May 8, I flew to Manila so I could attend iBlog5: The 5th Philippine Blogging Summit which was on May 9 at UP Diliman. Thankfully, Bagyong Emong already went out in time for my flight. Kevin and I met in NAIA so we could together go to Vanjohnn’s whereabouts. We went to SM Megamall since Van is there with his friends. A long walk towards the condo after.

Eric fetched us (like kids) so we could go together to UP Diliman. We were there on time and we get to have their freebies. Weee. Cebu Bloggers Society‘s (including me) wearing of their official shirt (thanks Van for the shirt) attracted the organizers attention so we were first in introducing ourselves to the early crowd. We were followed by more interesting bloggers. Continue reading

I Grew Up With Nickelodeon On The TV Screen

The other night when I had a small chitchat with The Photoblogger, we suddenly reached a topic about the TV shows that we used to watch when we were kids. Suddenly, Courage the Cowardly Dog (from Cartoon Network), got into my head. I then thought why not recall all the TV programs I used to watch when I was a kid. I know it would be a very long post so I limited it only [at first] with Nickelodeon shows. Thank God for cable TV, Nick came.

I also would share something I read (in Youtube I think) about today’s kids’ programs and movies. Well actually that was a comment for the Hannah Montana movie and the commenter hates the movie and the actress. She said, the kids’ programs before (like The Adventures of Pete and Pete in Nickelodeon) were the real kids’ TV programs rather than a superstar-turning-into-a-cowgirl-a-k-a-Hannah-Montana. No offense. I have nothing against the movie nor the actress.

Heroes: An Invisible Thread (Season 3 Finale)

Heroes Season 3 Chapter 4 has just ended. Another season ends. A new one awaits. The last episode for the third season of Heroes entitled Invisible Thread is not really extraordinary, but the happenings are blood-gushing. As usual, season finales will always be suspended in mid-air, making the audience want for the next season as soon as possible.

Danko was framed up by Sylar. Noah is caught again. Hiro Nakamura’s powers are eating his soul. Ando acts as a true friend. Suresh is, uhm, he is the narrator, so he is alive. Nathan Petrelli dies in Sylar’s hands, not on the head but on the neck. And that was one of the most horrifying scenes I’ve seen in Heroes. Blood gushing from Nathan’s neck like a sink over-flowing. Gross. Nathan Petrelli ressurects in the body of Sylar. So Sylar is dead trapped in Nathan’s soul as Matt Parkman commands it. The Company built and destroyed before is back again with the president’s consent. And lastly, the thing I most expected, Tracy Strauss is alive and I have a doubt she’ll be the new antagonist in the next season. The next chapter is entitled “Redemption“. As to why that is the title, I really don’t know. We just were given a sneak preview of what’s gonna happen and its Tracy taking down the Building 26 agents one by one and the new “Nathan” slowly showing hints of being Sylar. [Images]
