My name’s Bryan Karl. I am a 20 year-old blogger from Cebu, Philippines. I am currently working as a technical specialist (software engineer) in a software company here in Cebu. I graduated from the University of the Philippines – Cebu College (Batch 2010) with a degree BS in Computer Science, cum laude.

Life as a Blogger

When I was a kid, I used to write a lot. Blogging came in easy. I started blogging last 2008 and was using the Blogger platform until I decided to have my own self-hosted WordPress blog last 2009. I’ve also been a member of Cebu Bloggers Society for a long time already; I am currently CBS’ VP for Finance. I have also attended big blogging events such as iBlog5 and the Philippine Blog Awards 2009. I also did my part in organizing the first Cebu Blog Camp together with other bloggers.

Offline Life

For my day job, I work as a technical specialist. We are currently undergoing Nihongo training for a Japan-based project/client. I love watching TV shows/series on my free time. That includes both American and Japanese TV dramas. I also listen to a lot of interesting music. When in the city, I usually hang out with friends and kill time at the mall. For now, I focus on improving my health and fitness on a general scale.

My other career options: photographer, actor, model,  entrepreneur, flight steward, professor.

Other Projects

I have other blogs but I don’t update them anymore. Everything Online used to be my primary blog when I was a Blogger user. Earning, Blogging, Tips and More was an attempt to pro-blogging. I also co-write for Glee TV Show Guide together with a friend, Mikyu.

Lastly, I am more of a frequent in Twitter & Facebook than here. Please add me on those accounts.

The Extraordinary Kiddo was created in January 12, 2009 with the initial name What About Bryan (whataboutbryan.info). On May 17, 2009, it was migrated to WordPress platform (bryankarl.net) and was already given the name The Extraordinary Kiddo. Late in 2009, the domain name was changed to the current one now.
