Experience Reality Wedding Video Style With Videographer Buddy Gancenia
Nov 16th
Have you ever had the chance to watch QTV Channels’ reality wedding show entitled “Here Comes the Bride” before? It is really a reality TV show program for couples that are entitled to a free grand wedding if they win. But the show’s over now because it wasn’t really a hit.
Guess people can’t relate eh?
How about if you want to experience the same, a reality TV show/video feeling for your wedding? Wouldn’t that be a good idea? Of course. Plus, it would be made possible by reality wedding videographer Buddy Gancenia. Buddy Gancenia is a corporate, events, and wedding videographer and is the number one wedding videographer in the Philippines. He has been covering various weddings from ordinary people to those with positions in society. I’m One of the Nominees for the Chikka’s Reader’ Choice Visayas
Oct 14th
Yahoo! I’m so happy when Winston texted me that I am one of the nominees for the Philippine Blog Awards Chikka’s Readers’ Choice Awards Visayas. Being a nominee for this one already makes me happy. I don’t expect to win since I’m not really that “exposed” yet to the blogosphere. I’m just happy for being part of the nominees, hehe.
So you can vote for me (if you want to) by texting CHIKKARC V3 to 2929. V3 is the code for my blog. That costs P2.50 per message and is only for SMART and GLOBE subscribers only. Aaw, why no Sun? I’m not forcing you though. Just do it if you want to or you like me, heee.
Anyways, see you all this Sunday on the Philippine Blog Awards (Visayas) 2009 at the Ayala City Sports. Be there!
I Cast My Vote: Philippine Blog Awards 2009 Bloggers’ Choice Special Award (Visayas)
Oct 2nd
If I were to choose between voting for my blog, The Extraordinary Kiddo, and voting for another blog, then I’d probably vote… hmmm, let me think first. Hahaha.
First of all, it’s great knowing I’m part of the long line of nominees for the Philippine Blog Awards 2009 Bloggers’ Choice Special Award for Visayas. Together with me are some friends and co-Cebu Bloggers Society members (like Mikyu, Aika, Kristine Roa and Jayr). My classmate’s boyfriend is also one of the nominees.
But where will my vote befall? Should I go narcissus-style and vote for me and only me or should I cast my vote on a blog deserving to be branded Bloggers’ Choice?
…drum roll!

What Is Your Web Hosting Provider?
Sep 11th
Web hosting – a good topic of discussion. Since probably most of my readers and droppers-by here are also bloggers, talks about web hosting wouldn’t be much of a hard thing to do. 5mc6a8pry7
I am currently on a very affordable web host right now. But luckily, I haven’t encountered any problems lately from them and their servers (please let not this sentence be jinxed). I have no qualms as of the moment except that their support, both e-mail and live, is shut off. They’re holding my domain (stupid me) and that is a big problem. The only way to contact them is through the phone. And they’re in the USA and I’m in the Philippines. Thank God for YM (but I made no attempts whatsoever calling them yet).
Anyways, for those of you who are also on paid hosting for their WordPress, Drupal or Joomla blogs, can I ask you these questions? Read the rest of this entry »
Think Green, Think Super Green
Sep 9th
Green ethics – one of the most unusual words to hear when you talk about web hosting. Green ethics simply mean running a technology-bound life with sustainable development in the forefront of the principles adhered. Since natural imbalance and ecological backlash are one of the hottest topics nowadays, companies try to contribute to the lessening of nature’s destruction by simply going green – by reducing their carbon foot print. From Wikipedia, carbon foot print is “the total set of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions caused directly and indirectly by an individual, organization, event or product”. To achieve this, companies make use of “green” devices, those that produce lesser carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.
One of the few web hosting providers who adhere to green ethics is Super Green Hosting. Super Green Hosting makes use of Dell servers that produces 20% less carbon dioxide than the average server. The company also is involved in tree planting projects which of course is very helpful to combat global warming. But how could you be of any help? Here goes: Read the rest of this entry »
