I recently bought a Dell Inspiron N4110 in replacement of my also recently destroyed HP Compaq CQ40 (I spilled milk choco on it
). What made me decide to buy this Dell Inspiron is that aside from Dell being a renowned brand when it comes to computers, the specs are also quite suitable for my personal needs.

The Dell Inspiron N4110 carries with it a 2nd-generation Intel i3 processor, good enough to do basic stuff on your computer. The 2GB memory is also enough for tasks like browsing the web, music and videos, and simple programming. The 14-inch display is good enough but not totally impressive. The cover is a glossy, brushed finish and unfortunately, it can easily get scratched so be careful with what you use to wipe it.

The computer base is a nice brushed finish but like the cover, it easily smudges — and the smudges don’t get wiped off easily. The keyboard is distinguished from the base by a silver metal enclosure — practically to put some design on the too plain computer base. The keyboard keys are chiclet-style, not like what I was used to with my Compaq (keys close together). They are evenly-spaced and if you are not used to having such keys, you’ll need to adjust.
