My Name Is Extraordinary Naruto

Was I a “Naruto” person? Am I a fanatic like the people I know who religiously watch the anime and wait for the manga to come out? Do I drool for Naruto merchandise? I guess I’m not that person.

I have watched several episodes of Naruto in the local channel — dubbed Tagalog. And I like it. But my interest wanes when I know that I have missed so much already. And I also don’t read manga. I have never read one. I think my interests are beyond that zone. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like Naruto. I find the anime cool. If only I have the time to watch from the first episode to the latest. I have been continuously begging my classmate (Justine) to bring her Naruto CDs so I could watch but she never heeded the request, so I am Naruto-illiterate now. Continue reading

Longing For The Good Old TV Watching Days

Did you know that research has suggested that television watching can increase a person’s feeling of belongingness? By watching TV shows, a person can feel that he is in a social situation and is making actual contact with the TV characters. Social relationship on TV, yeah?

The Evolution Of Pokemon To Human Being [Pictures]

Pokemon pictures amuse me. Just like how Power Rangers bring back many a good memories of my childhood, Pokemon also does. I’ve been watching Pokemon when it first went out in GMA. I also memorized the first batch of Pokemon and had a print of their names. I have all Pokemon. Then I had my Gameboy Advanced. I was very addicted to Pokemon. Nuff of that.
