Cookout, Larsian, IT Park: A Weekend of Blasts!
I had a really tiring but fun weekend last week. 
 I just notice how I fill my weekends with events and get-togethers. And usually with bloggers. 
Last August 7, 2009, UP Cebu celebrated the annual Cookout. That was my first time to invite my Cebu Bloggers Society friends to come over and spend the whole night-til-morning partying event with me. Partying’s an overstatement though. Anyways, Cookout 2009 wasn’t the best Cookout that I’ve been to. If I were to spend that night alone or I don’t know who else with, it should have been ‘bad trip’ mode. But my friends were there to join me in laughing and wow-ing the performances on stage. Well, more of the laugh and side insults

Ro-ro-ro-roll call! Thanks Rabsin, the early bird, Pibi, for bringing your classmates (eh, hope they had at least some little fun), Atty. Ethelbert and OMG, for coming in and then coming out early and to Jesryl for dropping by. A big thank you to the survivors who stayed with me until 6AM the next day. I just hope you guys had fun even with us, being each other’s company, not because of the Cookout. 
Thanks a lot to Jorich, for staying. And to Tianexx, Mikyu (who bought us free dawn snacks!) and Jessa – now we know how we are at dawn… corny and high. It wasn’t like the overnight we had when we were still getting to know each other. Nice talking this time. I just got frustrated how I wasn’t able to use my mat and instead slept on cold ground. My friends came home at around 6AM with me staying behind at school to attend my 9AM class. Imagine me: shirtless, lying on the mat, on the floor, on the canteen floor, trying to steal some sleep. I can’t believe I went through that. I attended the Automata class with utmost difficulty. In the end I got 3 points bonus for the coming exam. 
I went home feeling like a floating entity in nowhere.
I wasn’t able to have some rest. As soon as I hit home, I prepared for another get-together, this time with Manila bloggers! After spending the afternoon with CBS, we went to Larsian, a barbecue haven in Cebu City to meet Micaela, Eric, Aaron and Xiena (correct me about the spelling, please). It was summer when I got to know Mica and Eric and meeting them again here in Cebu’s fun and made me happy! After the barbecue dinner and after smelling like barbecue ourselves, we headed to IT Park. We stayed at Jollibee for some ice cream, talks and camwhoring. The results of the camwhoring are as follows brought to us by Sinjin:

Eh I look so stressed but uhh, I don’t know. That’s my look with 6 hours of sleep in two days. I’m glad I was still able to walk and laugh. 
My Friday night and whole Saturday was indeed full of fun, spending each moment with bloggers. I hope to spend more time with my CBS friends and hope to see more Manila bloggers next month. Well of course, they’re scheduled to come here next month. See you!
