Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort Promotes Tourism, Invites Bloggers

Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort, a high-quality beach resort located in Cebu Mactan Island, has just invited the Cebu Bloggers Society to a free ocular tour and amenities use last May 16, 2009. Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort has been serving the country’s tourism industry since 1989 and they have maintained their elite type of service up to now mostly catering to tourists coming in for a relaxing holiday. With 158 rooms, a 110-meter beachfront of white sand and lots more of premium amenities, Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort is the perfect destination to unwind this summer.

Because of their action to promote both the Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort and our country’s tourism, they have invited us, the Cebu Bloggers Society for a summer blowout in the resort.

We were picked up in  the tourist pick up area in SM City Cebu Northwing by the resort’s vans at around 4PM. It took us around half an hour to reach the resort. The first thing that greeted us as we get down from the van is the warm welcome from the staff of the resort. We were worn with a shell necklace (summer summer feel) and were given fresh kalamansi juice for refreshment. After a while we met with our “tour guide” and we have the same family names and she said I’m cute, weee :P . We were brought to different places on the resort, including the rooms, the restaurant and other amenities.

We then were lead to a meeting room where we had our snacks and small conference with the management of Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort. It is there we exchanged our gratitudes. We also were given time to ask anything from them about the resort. What I learned from them, especially with Atty. Ethelbert’s question is that they help promote the country’s tourism as well as help maintain ecological balance. They also give back to the society with their community programs. After the sumptuous meal, the one hour left was for us to enjoy.

After the rest had their wet moments in the beach and the pool, we took our buffet dinner. It was great! The food was yummy, the service was good and the dance presentation of our local culture was fun too. Yes, the resort is promoting our local culture and glad to see the foreigners are enjoying the dances too.

After we got full stomachs, we already headed back to Cebu City since some of us are to go and watch a concert in Waterfront too.

I am thankful Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort invited us bloggers to experience that kind of summer blowout. It was really fun and the place is great. What makes it more fun is that I am with Cebu Bloggers Society again. Bloggers will always be a fun company. It doesn’t matter if they speak Tagalog (like my friends in Manila :D ) or Bisaya (like CBS :P ). What matters is the company.

So to those who are catching up with the last days of summer (and before the rainy season would come), head over to Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort. It is also recommended to try out their Amuma spa which is very tempting to try. For information and reservation, please call (63 32) 232 5411 to 14 and 492 0100. Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort’s complete address is Buyong Maribago, Mactan Island, Lapu-lapu City, Cebu 6015 PH. Try checking out their website at bluewater.com.ph or send them an email at reservationscebu@bluewater.com.ph. If you are from Manila, you can call them at (63 32) 817 5751 or email them at maribago@bluewater.com.ph.

Again, thank you Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort especially to their PR Mr. Ruben of Pinoy World.
