The second half of July also would bring us some great movies to watch. This is the continuation of Movies Coming Out on July Part 1. The movies listed are scheduled for release on July 16 to 31, 2009.

G-Force
Walt Disney Pictures brings us G-Force, an animated film about guinea pigs serving as secret agents for the government. Now all I could say is Disney never runs out of incredible and creative ideas.
In this explosive action-adventure, an elite team of secret agents serve as guinea pigs for the United States government. Wait, make that: an elite team of guinea pigs serve as secret agents. Yeah, you heard me. This adorable trio is the culmination of a secret project that trains animals for careers in espionage. When a diabolical billionaire hatches a plan to take over the world using common household appliances, our cuddly crime-fighters get armed to their buck teeth and prepare to take him down.
Orphan
I have seen the trailer of this suspense-horror film when I watched Drag Me to Hell last month.
Married couple John and Kate are finding it hard to cope with the loss of their unborn child. To stave off the bad dreams and visions that haunt Kate in the aftermath of this tragedy, the two of them decide to adopt a child. A sweet but withdrawn raven-haired beauty named Esther captures their hearts at an orphanage, and they invite her into their family. Not long after Esther comes home, strange and disturbing things begin to happen, and Kate becomes terribly certain that Esther is not what she seems.
I don’t know but there seemed to be some similarity in this movie with that of T2. But anyways, Orphan seemed frightening but you have to actually see it before you get frightened, so catch it up on its release date. Here’s a very clear trailer you might want to see.
The Ugly Truth
Abby is a successful, single television producer who’s beyond picky when it comes to potential mates. Mike is a new guest commentator whose shallow, chauvinistic personality dances on Abby’s every last nerve. She strikes a deal with Mike: if she follows his advice on how to snare a certain sexy surgeon and it doesn’t work, he’ll quit the show. Either way Abby wins — either she gets the perfect man or gets rid of the perfect nightmare. Sometimes, though, perfection lurks where you least expect it…
I like the last line “perfection lurks where you least expect it”. This movie might be a feel good movie to watch.

Funny People
What would you expect a movie be like with that kind of title? And what more could you expect when it stars Adam Sandler?
In this quirky drama about comedy, we look backstage into the lives of two comics: a famous stand-up veteran and a young guy just starting out in the biz. George Simmons has his onstage act honed to perfection, but his personal life is bleak and depressing. When a medical scare forces him to confront his own mortality, he decides to leave a legacy by reaching out to newcomer Ira Wright and helping him find his way onstage. In the end, George learns more from Ira than he could ever hope to teach.
Any Adam Sandler movie is funny (but Bedtime Stories was not that fun) so this better be funny too. I have watched the trailer here and it was hilarious. But with sense. Why with sense? Because it has an inspiring story attached to it.
Hope I get to watch it and learn from it.
Aliens in the Attic
OK, here’s the movie for kiddos like me!
And Sharpay Evans Ashley Tisdale stars in this teen flick about a group of young kids and some aliens. Believable. ![]()
But as I have finished watching the trailer, I think I’m gonna watch it. I even liked it more than Disney’s G-Force (look above). The trailer’s cool and fun(ny) especially the kick-ass grandma and how the kids made fun of Ashely’s nasty boyfriend.

Those are the movies to come out on the second half of July. I hope I could watch the ones I liked and hope you would also watch some too. Enjoy!
