Shop.Com’s Offers for the Holidays

The holiday season is here once again! Christmas is drawing nearer and nearer and it is tradition in the Philippines to start smelling the Christmas air as soon as the “-ber” months enter. With that, decorations start sprouting in every corner, in every household, in every building… sometimes, in every tree.

Big mansion-like (or mansions really) homes will start putting up extravagant decorations, lights, tapestries and curtains all around the house. For that, SHOP.COM offers their outdoor curtains which can also be used as decorative cover in verandas, terraces and windows. But if you cannot afford, a simple parol that gives genuine light will do for the whole Christmas season.

Always remember, it is not the Christmas decorations nor the gifts that matter most. It’s celebrating Christmas with your loved ones that’s most important. Advanced Merry Christmas! ;-) Read the rest of this entry »

It’s Gonna Make Sense by Michael Learns To Rock

[This post is about It's Gonna Make Sense by Michael Learns to Rock] Wow, long time that I haven’t shared any song here in my blog. Usually, I only share those songs that make big impact to me and here’s one of em.

Am I Ready For The Next Semester?

Yihee, finally enrolled at school yesterday! And I thought I’d be enrolled next week. Wah the enrollment was quick for me. Though I enrolled on the wrong day (for juniors supposedly), I still managed to finish all the enrollment steps even before the closing time of offices.

I’m quite excited of next semester? Why? Diversity. Next semester I suppose would be different from the previous ones. Hopefully, I wish, hope and pray, that it’d be my last semester in UP. I just hope I can make it. (My mom won’t accept if I won’t graduate on time; maybe she’d kill me)

So here are my subjects for next semester. Only got 16 units. I did not opt for overload. And I have no lab classes! Perfect.

I have so many vacant time but I guess I’ll either sleep, surf the net, go to the mall or make my SP during those hours. :???: I only have one non-CS subject next semester and I hope it’d be fun knowing that the teacher’s cool. I have 5 1/2 free hours on TFs and I don’t what to do with it. I’m gonna start making my SP and I don’t know where to start. We have Project Management and I’m sure it’ll be very useful in the industry. We have a bit and a lot next semester. Rarr.

My subjects: Science, Technology & Society; Project Management; Undergraduate Seminar; Web Engineering; Special Problem; Design and Analysis of Algorithms. Whew.

I’m not much into getting the honors. I’m into graduating on time. Hope I will. Wish me luck!

Lines From a Musical Comedy-Drama Series

Let me get this straight. Here are some lines of songs which I think might be applicable to me during these wee times.

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

I just gotta get out of this prison cell; Someday I’m gonna be free, Lord!

Been through this thought lately. And somebody, somebody should answer my heed. The song is originally by Queen and is now a hit in the musical-comedy TV series Glee. Song’s entitled Somebody To Love, lead by Lea Michele and Cory Monteith. You better listen to the song now.

And I can’t fight this feeling anymore; I’ve forgotten what I started fighting for

Well, guess what, Cory Monteith sang this in the shower cubicle in the Pilot episode of Glee. This is one great song and one that could make me think of an awful lot of things that’s NOT happening on my life. Rarr. But really, that line above weighs much and I don’t know how to explain.

These are my confessions; It’s now or never; I ain’t gonna live forever

It’s a great mash-up. Mash-up is like a medley. Bon Jovi’s It’s My Life mixed with Usher’s Confessions, Pt. II is awesome. Cory Monteith sings this together with the rest of the Glee guys while they’re on high. Girls also have their own mash-up. If you notice, that line’s my current status message in YM. Add me if you want to hehe. :P I have a confession to make. It’s now or never. Read the rest of this entry »
