Not all unexciting movies are bad. I recently watched a 2007 film called Ten Inch Hero. It is an independent romantic comedy film by David Mackay.

The movie revolves around a young girl named Piper who was looking for the daughter she gave up for adoption 8 years ago. She gets herself a job at a local sandwich shop and meets a bunch of new friends who themselves have their own stories to tell.
