Pyrofest 2 Fireworks Competition In SM City Cebu
Jan 17th
January 16, 2010 – the day before the historic Sinulog festival, SM and Pyroworks International held a fireworks competition in SM City Cebu (outside SM Northwing) called Pyrofest 2. There were 8 contestants from all over the Philippines and the final demo was given by Pyroworks International. I’m addicted to fireworks so I chose that event over the several other concerts all over the city. I did not take some videos. I took pictures the whole time.

Less Than Three Months
Jan 14th
I’m behind schedule. That’s all I know. What’s the use of a Gantt chart when it can’t be followed? But I guess we’re all behind schedule. Except James.
We have around 2 and a half months to go before the deadliest deadline of all — end of classes for this semester. And I’m behind schedule which means between February and March we’re going to be zombies on your lawn.
Looking back. New Year’s resolutions. Let’s see if I’m a kiddo of honor. Guess not. The running spree came out to be the right thing at the wrong time. I underestimated my busyness when I though about it. Project 365 is doing good, so as the planner use. I’m still at it. Contact lenses are now a part of my everyday life and it’s great (except for the first few days). And that everything will be well for everyone in 2010 I have yet to find out. That’s only one resolution not done guys — running.
Running turned out to be an additional burden to my busy life. I have a deadly deadline to meet and I can’t do other stuff just yet. Get fit, be healthy might not be super now. But I do moderate my intake of stuff and I don’t drink soda unless I have no choice. I’m healthy though. Maybe change that to look healthy. Aside; if you’re on weight loss, this: http://www.revive-weightloss.com.
Let’s get random and quick. I attended Miss Cebu 2010, supported Darmae, took pic with beauties and enjoyed the night. Will watch Pyro Competition this Saturday. I made new cool friends lately. Tumblr lost the tumblarity nuisance (for now). I learned that I’m a Perfect Melancholic. I got broke within a small span of time. The button of my camera’s dislodged. Sinulog will be this Sunday which means 4AM mass for the family again brrr. And many more. The most significant is my attending the Ms. Cebu 2010. You can never replace the happiness of seeing that smile. Nyaks.
That’s all for now. Back to work.
Soothing, Inspiring Solo Piano From Jim Chappell
Jan 3rd
Jim Chappell is one of contemporary music’s most engaging composers and performers. He is a brilliant pianist, has 15 albums to his credit, has toured to lots of places and has guested in several US TV shows. His latest album release was last October 2009 and entitled Rise.
I have this love in listening to piano music. Probably out of frustration since I wanted to learn how to play the piano but never had the chance to. I believe that piano music is therapy to stress. That’s why I decided to purchase Jim Chappell’s latest album, Rise. Rise has 14 tracks in it.
Quality Goals For 2010
Dec 31st
Okay that sounded very much Project Management-ish or Software Engineering-ish but all I meant to say is that I have created a list, sort of a New Year’s Resolutions list. I avoided THIS since Christmas and then hours before 2010 I made one. I told myself never to create a resolutions list because they all tend to be left behind and forgotten (for me haha). But now I have one. Anyways, it doesn’t matter. Let me call them quality goals instead.
1. Get fit, be healthy – I plan to start running next year, prolly on January’s 2nd week. Will have to check if the sports complex is okay. I’m really ‘unfit’ though the scale tells my height-weight ratio is absolutely on the healthy level. But I don’t look healthy. Tss my tummy’s bulging haha. As a computer science student I am entitled to an unhealthy lifestyle — sitting all day long in front of the laptop. It’s time to use these God-given legs. Run, Bryan, run! (I think I share a similar goal with John Carl?)
2. Project 365 – I’m going to do this before it becomes a cliche! A project undertaken by Kimmy Chau from USA and Helgaholic from the Philippines and several other cool guys around the world. It’s a take-a-photo-of-yourself-for-365-days project and I think I’d love to do this for 2010. Cool huh. Wait for my own set on Flickr, uh-huh?
