Bolt, a 2008 movie from Walt Disney Animation Studios is a computer-animated comedy film by Chris Williams and Byron Howard. Bolt stars the voices of John Travolta as Bolt, Miley Cyrus as Penny, Susie Essman as Mittens (the cat), and Mark Walton as Rhino (the hamster). With a splendid animation and a feel-good storyline, Bolt is a must watch for kids and adults alike.
Bolt is a Hollywood star but he does not know that he is one
. Penny, Bolt’s person (human master) stars in a fantasy/sci-fi TV show that shows superpowers, blasts and cool fighting jets. Bolt is the TV show’s hero and he’s the one who got the cool superpowers like Zoom Zoom, Super Bark and many more. But for all of these acting to be real, the production team made sure that Bolt really believes that he has superpowers and that the villains are actually real. Bolt believes so. Not until one day, after a quick upturn of events, Bolt was gone, out of Hollywood, lost in the real world. Bolt’s quest is to rescue Penny from the villains. But he is now in the real world and the real world is just that, real. He met Mittens, the cat who looked exactly like the cat of the villain in the TV show. Bolt made Mittens a captive. But their long journey turned them into something that the dog-cat world wouldn’t expect. Along the way, they met Rhino, a fan of Bolt from the TV. Their trio is one good team. Their new quest is to search for Hollywood where Penny can be found. After a long and winding journey with rough events in between, the three ended up in Hollywood where a tragic event reunites Penny and Bolt and with Mittens and Rhino a new addition to the family. And just like any other Disney movie, Bolt and the rest lived happily ever after. :halo:

Is Marley really the world’s worst dog? For me, he is the world’s best.
I just saw Marley & Me, starring Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson and the dog Marley. Marley & Me is a heart-warming movie about a family and their life with their dog.
I have heard about the movie weeks ago, saw a poster in the mall, and thought, maybe this would just be another dog movie. But just now that I am free of my school responsibilities, I got the time to download the movie on my laptop. That’s when again, a movie moved me. I am a dog-lover. When our dog was a “toddler”, she would listen to only me; not even my parents. That is why seeing this movie got me involved. There are times when you see a movie and afterwards you just say, “okay that was fine”. But for me, this movie is different. Okay, call me emotional but I just love dogs.
Marley & Me started out with John and Jennifer Grogan being married, hoping for “something” to care for other than a baby. They got Marley, a yellow Labrador Retriever, a happy one, active, playful, uncontrolled and property-destructive. They had big troubles with Marley but never did they treat Marley like any other dog. Marley & Me ended with a sad and emotional ending leaving a lot of lessons to the viewers.
I quote the last words of John Grogan from the movie:
A dog has no use for fancy cars, or big homes, or designer clothes; a water log stick will do just fine. Dog don’t care whether you’re rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb; give him your heart and he’ll give you his. John Grogan
By the way, Marley & Me is based on a true to life story written in an autobiography titled the same by John Grogan (the real John Grogan). Visit the official site of the book here and the movie here. I recommend the movie to everyone, especially those who are dog lovers. This movie is worth your time. Enjoy!
