University of the Philippines in the Visayas – Cebu College (UPVCC) brings everyone COOKOUT 2009. This event will be on August 7, 2009 on UP Cebu grounds (Lahug, Cebu City) and will start at 6PM until early morning the following day. Cookout 2009 is free for UPians and Php50 for non-UPians. 
Aside from the showcasing of UP talents through singing (Kantahan), dancing (Sayawan) and modelling (Rampahan), a number of the hottest local bands will also be there to liven up the night.

Err, I know CDMC has really been a hit with the UPians in the past Cookout events. I could remember how UP stood still when they sang “I’ll Be Loving You Forever” in last last year’s Cookout. Just sharing. 
Anyways, Cookout is really UP Cebu’s biggest event every year. For the past three years, I’ve never missed this event and this year I’ll be a free audience. I was a food volunteer in 2007, a contestant in 2008. This year I’m not taking part in anything, yihee!
