Lopez Link‘s new contest for bloggers gives away an Adtel Home Solar Kit. This kit is a 40-watt Plug āNā Play system, which includes an AM/FM radio, a multiport cellphone charger for Nokia, Motorola and Ericsson phones, and two 1.8W LED lamps. Very very convenient and useful during times of blackout or typhoons.
Unfortunately, I decided not to join the contest. Though I live in a rural community (I live outside Cebu City) where trees, bushes, cows, and goats are abundant, blackout rarely happens here. And typhoons visit less often. An Adtel Home Solar Kit is very useful to those whose areas are frequently visited by flood or typhoons, or to secluded areas where power supply is weak. If I joined, I’ll probably side on to an argument of donating the solar kit to a far-off school in the south of Cebu, or to a family who lives in an area where electricity is not supplied. One of the contest entries touching this kind idea is the ADTEL meet TREK post. The school at Sitio Polis can find the Adtel Home Solar Kit very useful, I suppose. Thumbs up!
If you are interested in getting the solar kit, join the contest now.
